Is Microsoft CSP (MCA) killing Software Assurance?

Software Assurance benefits are being gradually reduced in Microsoft Licensing. Are we to witness the end of Software Assurance and traditional licensing programs soon to be completely overtaken by CSP (Cloud Solution Programme, also known as MCA - Microsoft Customer Agreement)?

And is it necessarily a bad thing? Maybe we should perceive it as a simplification instead?
